Football: The New Syracuse Gridiron Academy is offering a free open house on Sunday

The New Syracuse Gridiron Academy is offering a free open house to all football players in Section III to experience this new concept that brings together football, academics, and recruiting. The open houses will be 8 p.m. today and January 20th at the 481 Sports Complex.


Players will have a chance to get on the field with the coaching staff and gridiron athletes to learn about all the things the academy has to offer.


There will be representatives from the parent company Red Penguin any answer questions and explain all the aspects the academy offers beyond just football but also in SAT Prep and Recruiting Profiles and education for players and parents.


The Academy offers 18 weeks of competitive football for players grades 9 - 12 and the education and recruiting pieces as well. In addition any player who wants to be part of the academy we do have opportunities for scholarships to make sure every kid who wants to be part of the academy can be.
