Devon and her boyfriend met at a party post deployment and 8 months later came an unexpected pregnancy.
This was 16 & Pregnant the I didn?t know I was pregnant version, though. Devon didn?t find out she was pregnant until she was 5 months along. That means she found out the sex of the baby at her first prenatal appointment! Her mom was shocked to find that her 2nd teenage daughter was going to be a teenage mother. 2 for 2!
Baby daddy wants to move out on his own since their house is crowded with her mom but they don?t exactly have the funds, so he considers joining the military full time to get BAH so they can have a home ASAP.
Baby daddy is hard working and seems to be a legit good guy. never complains about anything but wanting to be more independent. Can?t fault him for that one.
Devon has a tough time being pregnant and being in school so she drops out to get her GED which sucks and no one is happy about, but at least she goes through with some sort of certification.
Baby comes and she holds out 9 hours before getting any pain medicine. Mtv said she was in labor for 12 hours but apparently she was in labor for 23. Woahdare. Baby comes home and Devon is kind of on her own in the middle of the night since baby daddy has to go to work early in the morning, on top of spending one weekend a month doing army business.
She breastfeeds!
Baby daddy DOES help when he gets home from work, so while he?s not doing too much in the middle of the night.
Like every other girl this season, she?s bored out of her mind with cabin fever and no one has time for a friend with a baby, and as soon as Landon is there she starts to understand why Colin, baby daddy, wanted their own place so badly.
Once they get approved for a house, Colin gets laid off and their world comes crashing down. Colin was deistated and felt like he was failing his family and even picked up Landon, kissed him, and apologized. Saddest. Scene. Ever. Devon was extremely supportive and they seem to have pretty legit communication skills.
?Devon and Colin are still together, they plan on having more kids after they?re married and she finishes nursing school, and she?s like a girl!
